About this Speaker

I started my career as a Registered Nurse working in Trauma and Orthopaedics. I then trained as a midwife and began working in London in all areas of practice. I spent sometime working in the Middle East where I had a wonderful experience. I came home and worked in various hospitals. My areas of interest were maternal/fetal medicine and also perinatal bereavement. I became one of the first Modern Matrons, worked as a governance midwife and then finally 6 years ago, joined the fantastic midwifery teaching team at Christ Church. My interest is in clinical skills, complex maternal care and Leadership modules.
