About this Speaker

I am the Programme Director for Creative and Professional Writing and Director of the International Centre for Victorian Women Writers at CCCU. My teaching interests include poetry and the ways we can interact with historic fiction to create new narratives, particularly of place. My most recent poetry collection is Accidental Fruit (Worple) and I have written literary biographies of Mary Cholmondeley and Jerome K. Jerome. I’m also the project lead for in collaboration with JSTOR Labs and the Centre for Kent History and Heritage. We are always looking for volunteers to get involved with this project and help us put Kent authors on the map!
