About this Speaker

I have over 20 years’ experience as a lecturer within higher education. This includes delivering guest lectures abroad at the University of North Texas and the College of DuPage in Illinois (United States). I have also delivered public lectures for non-higher education organisations such as Ealing Equality Council. I was a member of the London Gangs Forum which met at the House of Commons to discuss strategies to tackle rising gang violence in London. My specialist areas are criminological theory and the philosophy of criminology. I have delivered radio interviews on popular culture issues and published in areas such as ethics and international terrorism and the August 2011 riots.
