I am a Principal Lecturer in Chemistry at Canterbury Christ Church University, teaching modules with a chemistry content across a range of Biological and Chemical Sciences courses. My research spans a wide range of fields, from the synthesis of fluorescence chemosensors with potential environmental and medical applications to research on fuel cells. I have published several articles in scientific journals and regularly present my work at international conferences. I am very passionate about enhancing the student learning of chemistry and have published various academic articles and two book chapters on the subject. I have also given guest lecturers at international conferences on the effective integration of research experiences in the science undergraduate curriculum.
