I joined Canterbury Christ Church in 2018 as a Lecturer in Forensic Investigation and I am now also the University’s BAME Strategic Lead.
Since joining the University, I have been awarded the University Teaching Excellence award and received nominations for the Golden Apple award. I am dedicated to achieving teaching excellence and exploring new and innovative ways to help my students achieve their potential.
Prior to joining the University, I worked at two of the UK’s leading forensic science providers as a Forensic Biologist. My specialist areas include Blood Pattern Analysis, DNA, hairs and fibre examination, textile damage analysis, gunshot residue examination and quality standards in forensic science. I also has a keen interest in the impact of cognitive bias within forensic investigations and I regularly provide training to police forces and organisations operating with the Criminal Justice System.
